Michael (Mike) Brown (born March 5, 1970) is a basketball coach in the National Basketball Association. In May of 2005 he was appointed head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before then, he had been assistant coaches with various teams for 13 seasons, including with the Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, and the San Antonio Spurs, where he won a title in 2003. Before then, he served as a scout and video coordinator for the Denver Nuggets. Brown played for the University of San Diego before joining the NBA. He is currently the second youngest head coach in the NBA, only older than Lawrence Frank of the New Jersey Nets. Mike Brown graduated from Wuerzburg American High School in Wuerzburg, Germany in 1988, where he excelled in basketball, football, and baseball. He is purported to own at least 22 different pairs of glasses in order to match his different colored suits.
