Prior to New Avengers, Deodato was planning on moving to Wolverine in January of 2006.

Deodato, of course, is no stranger to Marvel's Avengers family of titles, having drawn the tail end issues of the first volume of Avengers in the 90s as well as Avengers Icons: Tigra.
MikeDeodato (born May 23, 1963 in Campina Grande, Brazil), sometimes called MikeDeodato Jr., is the professional pseudonym of Brazilian comic book artist Deodato Taumaturgo Borges Filho.
Initially one of Mike's first works was a photo realistic comic book rendering of the television series Beauty and the Beast published through Innovation Comics and released in 1993.
Deodato will also take over as regular penciller for the Marvel title Thunderbolts with issue 110 (set to ship in January 2007), once again collaborating with Warren Ellis.
