Mike Score and his trademark haircut in the early 1980s Mike Score (born November 5, 1957 in Beverly, Yorkshire, England, UK) is a keyboardist and lead singer for the 1980s New Wave band A Flock of Seagulls. He was best known for his odd hairstyle. Sometimes it was combed over his head and sometimes in a cat-like appearance by bringing the sides up. But his common one was the comb over his forehead. He was able to achieve this as he was a hairdresser before he joined A Flock of Seagulls. However by 1984, his well-known hairstyle was gone and he grew out his hair making it longer in the back and combed it to the side. He was in the band A Flock of Seagulls until 1986, but when he decided to reform the band again in 1989, the other members decided not to join. He is still currently performing and touring as A Flock of Seagulls but with different members. Mike currently lives in Florida on the Indian River.
