Mikee has been singing in a band called Sikth since year 2000. They went through many line up changes until they settled on the current line up back in March 2001. He has a very strange singing style and a poetic style of lyric writing. Goodman has recorded 2 full albums and 5 EPs with Sikth.

In 2002 he wrote and directed the much talked about 'How May I Help You ?' animated music video, which went on to win awards such as best video in the Big Cheese Magazine 2003 and enjoyed a lot of play on MTV2 UK and A listed on MTV Asia.

He sings in Sikth to this day. There has been numerous interviews where he has mentioned a side project called Sad Season, but no news on an album or a release to date. He has sung a track on the first This is Menace album. Also guested on the Bat for Lashes album Fur and Gold. Bat For Lashes is the creation of Natasha Khan, a Pakistan-born, Brighton based songwriter. ...

It has been announced that as of July 2007 Goodman, along with co-vocalist Justin Hill, will be making his departure from the band to concentrate on producing and his other project; Sad Season

Lyrics

Mikee's lyric writing in the early days of Sikth came across very tongue and cheek with dark humor especially in songs like Hold My Finger, Such The Fool and How May I Help You? But then came the more serious side when album 'The Trees are Dead and Dried Out, Wait For Something Wild', came out in 2003. With songs such as 'Skies of Millennium Night', 'Wait For Something Wild' and spoken word song 'When Will The Forest Speak?' there was a lot more to his writing than just humor. This touched on Love, War and Paranoia amongst other issues. He has said in many interviews that 'the lyrics I write are for people to make their own meanings for them, I want someone to make a song which means something to me, mean something different for them, that is when a song can be really special'. He often talks of metaphors in his words.

Vocals

Mikee has a very versatile and unique voice and style, going from high screams to low growls then into singing with a rasp and then clean. On the first Sikth album he did many strange voices and sounds as well as singing and screaming in many styles. On the follow up in 2006 he had grown and matured as a vocalist and we could hear the singing voice really come out of him seemed a lot richer in tone.
