Miller Genuine Draft is one of three main beers produced by Miller Brewing Company.
Introduced in 1986 as the original cold-filtered packaged draft beer, MGD is not heat pasteurized. Miller uses a exclusive cold-filtered process that prevents some of the beer's flavor to be heated away. MGD recently received the gold medal in the American-style Premium Lager category at the 1999 Great American Beer Festival.
