Political Program

Milorad Dodik stands for Bosnia and Hercegovina organized as decentralized, federative state, with the RS as one federative unit. Dodik believes that Bosnia and Herzegovina, as multinational state, needs a sophisticated political system which would distribute political power equally, in order to protect its citizens' rights and prevent any of its constitutional nations' from being in a permanent political minority. Dodik believes that the introduction of a simple "one person-one vote" system would lead to the country being unfairly dominated by the Bosniaks, and that it would be inappropriate in such a complex multinational state. Mr Dodik also believes in the economy as primary driver of the recovery of both the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ethnic map of BIH, 2006. ... Mr. Dodik today enjoys for post war politician an unprecedented popularity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, his political programs reach not only to Serbs, who are still his principal constituent, but also to other voters: He delivers promise of economically strong and thus viable Bosnia and Herzegovina to Bosniaks, as well as new chance to protect endangered ethnical identity to Croats. Nowdays Mr Dodik behaves like a chetnik(Serbs'illegal forces during The Second World War that commited crime and slaughthered a lot of Muslims and Croats in Bosnia and especially in East Herzegovina)but now there is NATO and High Representative of International Community and he is not able to do something similar and because of that he is nervous and frustrated hating all things refer to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the years in opposition, he concentrated on the strengthening of his political party, which swept the elections in October 2006. During the election campaign, which he led under the slogan "RS, a better part of BiH" he stood opposite to the calls from the other BiH entity (namely from the Bosniak-dominated Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (SBiH)) for the abolishment on the Republika Srpska.
