The Mitchell High School Band is called the "Marching Bluejackets" and take the field at every home football game. The Bluejackets also play at home basketball games. Each year members can enter in the ISSMA Solo and Ensemble contest. They are under the direction of Mr. Hank Wintczak, who has been director for over 25 years.
