Miyoshi is a great little town. Lots of young families are moving there to raise their kids in peace and quiet. It's home to two of the best restaurants in Minami Boso. One is Saint Schwien. Its a sausage restaurant. I'm not the biggest fan, but it's really popular. Kind of expensive and small portions. The other place is called Pokhara. It's banging and the chef, Fumiharu, is king of the world, has visited something like 100 foriegn countries, speaks English real well and is a charming guy. I recommend the green curry and the chicken fajitas. mmm-mmmm!
Chiba Prefecture was established on June 15, 1873 with the merger of Kisarazu Prefecture and Inba Prefecture.
Chiba borders Ibaraki Prefecture to the north at the Tone River, Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture to the west at the Edo River, the Pacific Ocean to the east and Tokyo Bay around its southern boundary.
Chiba's population is one of the wealthiest in Japan due to the prefecture's strong commercial and industrial sectors.
