Mobile ARMOUR (MA in short): All Range Maneuverability Offence Utility Reinforcement

Unlike some misconception that people keep calling it Mobile armor, It got an 'U' in it. A good example will be the TMA(transformable Mobile Armour) of 0087~0088 (Zeta and ZZ)

A Mobile Armour is type of unit developed by the company ZIP to competite as the next generation mobile weapon against the Zeonic's Mobile suit as the main battle unit of Zeon. It focuses on increasing the generator power output so that the unit can support the installation of mega particle cannon There is also a official saying that within the 4 main aspects: Maneuverability, Acceleration, Fire Power, and Defence, at least two need to be above average of the Mobile weapons of that generation. This saying is true to all MAs after the One Year War but the MAs (Except the ones specially design for New Types) within the One Year War actually are weaker than RGM-79 in all aspects but Fire Power. Some have said that the small RB-79 Ball "mobile pod" from Mobile Suit Gundam should be considered a subtype of mobile armor, but this idea is not widely accepted. Mobile suits are the humanoid fighting vehicles - in other words, giant robots - which are the standard weapon of war in the Gundam saga.
Mobile suits typically range in size from 15 to 25 meters (50 to 80 feet), and are usually operated by a single human pilot.
However, the mobile armors featured in such recent series as Gundam X and Gundam Seed are often no more powerful than an average mobile suit - in fact, in the latter case, the mobile armors used by the Earth forces are just glorified space fighters which are no match for the enemy's mobile suits.
