Moorabbin is a suburb of melbourne 12 km south of the city.
Moorabbin is best known for the linton street oval which was used for two decades for AFL football matches untill the last game was played there in 1993.
Moorabbin is also known for its residential area built after World War II, and for its run down suburban centre that has failed due to the success of other shopping centres and lack of any shops or facilities popular among the population.
