Geography

Morrison Bluff is located at 35°22'56" North, 93°31'39" West (35.382274, -93.527618)1.


According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.8 km˛ (1.1 mi˛). 2.8 km˛ (1.1 mi˛) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.


Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 74 people, 29 households, and 18 families residing in the town. The population density is 26.0/km˛ (67.5/mi˛). There are 32 housing units at an average density of 11.2/km˛ (29.2/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town is 94.59% White, 4.05% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.35% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.


There are 29 households out of which 27.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.7% are married couples living together, 6.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.5% are non-families. 31.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.55 and the average family size is 3.11.
