The Mortuary Temple of Seti I is the memorial temple (or mortuary temple) of Pharaoh Seti I.^[1] It is located in the Theban necropolis in Upper Egypt, across the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor, near to the modern town of Qurna. Construction

The temple seems to have be constructed towards the end of the reign on Seti, and may have been completed by his son Ramesses the Great after his death.^[2] One of the chambers contained a shrine or sanctuary dedicated to Seti's father Ramesses I, who ruled for under 2 years, and did not construct a mortuary temple for himself. Current condition

The entire court and any pylons associated with it have been destroyed and are now buried under the modern town to the east.
