mostly the northern countries of the world are the MEDCs (although there are exceptions, like australia, israel, new zealand...). Some of an MEDC's characteristics are: high GNP (gross national product per capita), low death rate, high life expectancy rate, and low birth rate. People in MEDCs usually have good health and education.
