Explain the dystonias connected with motor coordination. Torticollis, why??? What possibilities exist to help relieve the constant tension of dystonia similar to torticollis, beyond flexoril, baclofen, and valium. These medications help relieve the symptoms on a temporary basis only. I am searching for the cause and cure for the dystonias, this may be a rare disorder and yet does require our attension to understand the cause and cure to help the many who suffer. The constant tension in the trapezius at the base of the neck will only relax (sometimes when laying down) and becomes more tense as I proceed through my day, walking for any length of time increases the tension compounding the constant pain as the day wears on. I truly believe for every problem there is a solution, let us find the cure, let us work together and relieve the suffering of thousands of people.
