Plot synopsis

Josh surprises Drake by announcing that he got a job at the local movie theater, The Premiere. Drake, jealous of the high pay, decides to get a job there as well. Drake, an instant favorite with his boss, Helen, receives a coveted job as Assistant Manager, angering Josh. A typical multiplex (AMC Promenade 16 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, United States). ... Josh, wanting his boss to notice him, comes up with an idea to drum up business and increase interest in popcorn sales; however, the promotion backfires, and people are hurt fighting over popcorn buckets in an attempt to get the golden balls that award the bearer free movies for a month. Paramedics are called in, and Helen demands to know who was responsible for the incident. Rather than allowing Josh to be fired, Drake lies and implicates himself as the creator of the promotion.
