Movri (Greek: Μόβρη), is a mountain range that is in the municipalities of Movri, Dymi to the northeast, Oleni in the western part of the prefecture of Achaia and the western part is partly in the prefecture of Ilia with the municipality of Vouprasia. It is located about 30 km SW of Patras, W of Chalandritsa, NE of Amaliada and Pyrgos, SE of the Ionian Sea and S of the Gulf of Patras. The mountain range has several mountaintops. The tallest is about 660 m. The second is to the west and another mountain range with an elevation of around 500 m is to the southwest.


The panorama of Movri can go as far as the northern part of the prefecture of Ilia and the hills of the southwesr to the west, most of western and westcentral Achaia including the Panachaicus and the western part of northern Achaia, the southern part of Aitoloakarnania including the mountain range during clear days and the eastern half of the southern Ionian including Aenos except the southern and the central part of Zante during clear days. Geography

The mountain has lots of creeks and streams but the Larissos river flows to the west and begins in the southern part. A communications tower for that area are situated in the midnorthwest in a western slope. There are some farms in the northeastern part. Another small valley is to the south.


The geography is mainly covered with grass with a few forests and mostly bushes but much of the forests lie less than 30 to 40 m below sea level. There are some forests in the northwestern part and has a grove lying in the mid-western part of the mountain.


The neighboring mountain ranges are Scollis to the south which blosk the panorama in the south and southeast. The northern and the western half are plains, the northeast and the east are hills. A small mountain with bushes lies to the northeast.
