Muangthai Raisabdah or Thailand Weekly was the Television program in Thailand. It broadcasted every friday on Channel 9 MCOT. The context of the show was to select the important news to analyse and critique. The show had a very high rating because it was one of the very few Television program that directly criticise the government. The show was host by Sondhi Limthongkul, the Media Mogul who own newspaper, radio stations and satellite teleivison network with co-host Sarocha Pornudomsak. On September 9, 2005 the show was terminated by MCOT management because of the sensitive content from the Letter Sondhi has read in the show. The letter was called "Lookkeh Long Tang" (The lost little sheep) which has a metaphor directly attacking Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and also imply that he has some conflict with King Bhumibol Adulyadej. MCOT stated that Sondhi is disrespecting the Royal Institutions. Sondhi rejected all the accusations, criticized MCOT as a tool of the government to suppress the media. On September 23, 2005, he took the show on the road.
