Generally, this kind of institutions could have professional and amateur sports branches in several sports like football (soccer), basketball, roller hockey, futsal, volleyball, handball, water polo, rugby, athletics, boxing, triathlon, baseball, tennis, sport rowing, gymnastics and other. The teams or athletes belonging to a single sports club compete in several different leagues, championships and tournaments under the same club logotype, equipment colors and name, sharing also the same club fan base, supporters and facilities.
