The Murg is a right tributary of the Rhine, located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It rises in the Black Forest, and flows through Baiersbronn, Forbach, Gaggenau, and Gernsbach before reaching the Rhine at Rastatt. Its length is 96 km; its drainage area has a size of 637 km². Murg is one of only 18 Luce Scholars chosen nationally for the 2000-01 academic year and the first Emory student since 1988 to receive the honor.
