The Museums Association (MA) is a professional organization for museum professionals and museums in the United Kingdom. They organize an annual conference and produce a Museum Yearbook. Members receive the monthly Museums Journal. The MA also produces the Museum Practice professional magazine.
The association is the oldest museum association in the world and was started in 1889 by a small group of museums to protect the interests of museums and galleries.
