Myles guitar-work with Cosmic Dust was very advanced, combining his jazz theory knowledge with his advanced technical abilities. It could be thought of as a combination of traditional jazz guitar and more metal-esque shredding. Basically, he could play jazz by implying chord changes and shred with extreme speed and precision.

Myles R. Kennedy (born November 27, 1969) is a singer and guitarist from Spokane, Washington, currently fronting US rock band Alter Bridge, the brainchild of former Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti.
Kennedy was previously the lead singer of his own band, The Mayfield Four.
Kennedy was previously a guitar instructor at two different music stores in Spokane, and plays guitar with Alter Bridge, giving leeway for Tremonti's intense showmanship on the guitar.

Myles was the owner of several iron mines in the area and lived in a large stone mansion and a tower with a panoramic view of Morecambe Bay and the Lake Mountains.
Fortunately, though, for the Kennedys, the iron ore field ran into the adjoining property, although the owner was unaware at the time that iron ore existed on his land.
One day he met a member of the Kennedy family in Daltongate and told him that he had just bought some property at Roanhead, as a place to keep his greyhounds who were making too much noise, and offered the lease on the adjoining land, where the iron ore had been found by the Kennedys.
