The N21 road is a National Primary Route in Ireland, forming part of the overall route from Limerick to Tralee. The route commences near Patrickswell, about 18 km southwest of Limerick city, where the main N20 dual-carriageway out of the city becomes the N21 (the N20 Limerick–Cork route continuing on a diverging road). Motorcycle Road Races - Athea, Ireland (819 words)
Road Racing in the South West of Ireland was a tremendous success with the Village of Athea welcoming crowds estimated at 18,000 spectators according to the local police.
Irish road racing went south for the first time this season, way down in County Limerick when the third Athea road race took place last month and was well supported once again by the local crowd.
For the good of the sport it is also great to see road racing events being spread throughout Ireland and not just concentrating in the north or around the greater Dublin area.
