In Internet computing, NSD (for "name server daemon") is a serverprogram for the Domain Name System. It was developed by NLnet Labs of Amsterdam, from scratch as an authoritative name server (i.e., not supporting the recursive caching function). One of the Internetroot nameservers was switched to NSD on February 19, 2003.

NSD receives numerous inquiries each month from individuals around the world looking for information on how to develop similar dog training centers in their own locations in order to provide services to children with autism and other special needs.
NSD was the second Canadian service dog training center to achieve voting membership with Assistance Dogs International (ADI).* NSD is a leader in service dog training for children with autism and it provides customized, unique personal services for children and their families.
NSD is developing strategic partnerships and attracting new funding relationships to grow and impact more children and families regionally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
