Tehran, Aug 19, IRNA -- Gian mirage located 30 kms south of Nahavand (in Hamedan province) is actually a vital source of life, and a figurative mirage to the desires and wishes of lovers of nature and protectors of environment.
The neglected remote Gian mirage is located on a narrow road leading to Nahavand, flanked on each side by the remnants of the 20-hectare ancient Zagros forests, which provide an extremely beautiful perspective comprising a mountain, a forest, and vast flourishing plains to the west.
Nahavand's governor Khalili said, "Since Gian mirage is located 32 kms from Nahavand, it is out of the jurisdiction of Nahavand Municipality and the City Council, and the area falls under the jurisdiction of the Pastures and Forests Organization.
