Nakskov is a municipality in south Denmark, in the county of Storstrøm. The municipality covers an area of 33 km², and has a total population of 15,486.
Neighboring municipalities are Rødby to the east, and Højreby and Nakskov to the north.
To the north on part of its border is Nakskov Fjord, to the west is the Langelands Belt (Langelandsbælt), and to the south is the Femern Belt, which separates Lolland from Germany.
It will be merged with existing Holeby, Højreby, Maribo, Nakskov, Ravnsborg, and Rødby municipalities to form the new Lolland municipality.
