Nanjung Ilgi (Korean: 난중일기; 亂中日記) or War Diary is a personal diary of Korean Admiral Yi Sun-sin (Korean: 이순신; 李舜臣) under the Joseon Dynasty. It was written between January 1, 1592 and November 17, 1598 by the Admiral himself and he recorded Yi Sun-sin (March 8, 1545 – November 19, 1598), was a Korean naval leader famous for his victories at the Battle of Hansan, among others. ... The Joseon Dynasty was the final ruling dynasty of Korea, then called Joseon, lasting from 1392 until 1910. ...
