Narasimhavarman, also called "Mamallan" was the one who visualised present day "Mahabalipuram". Anyone who has visited the so-called place near the capital city of TamilNadu, could not have not marvelled the excellence of the beautiful rock-cut monuments. The place is named after "Mamallan", meaning "Greatest warrior among Warriors". Narasimha Varma Pallavan was one of the greatest Pallava kings, who ruled around 650 A.D.
