Nash is a town located in Grant County, Oklahoma. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 224.

Geography

Nash is located at 36°39'54" North, 98°3'9" West (36.664892, -98.052487)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 224 people, 95 households, and 66 families residing in the town. The population density is 270.3/km² (697.3/mi²). There are 128 housing units at an average density of 154.4/km² (398.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 95.54% White, 0.00% African American, 3.12% Native American, 0.89% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.45% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 95 households out of which 31.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% are married couples living together, 5.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.5% are non-families. 28.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.36 and the average family size is 2.90.
