The National Ballet Theater of Puerto Rico (Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico) is one of the leading ballet companies in Puerto Rico.


It was formed by former members of Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico after the company was paralized by a dancers' strike in 2004. They performed for the first time in April 2005 at the Francisco Arrivi Theater in San Juan under the direction of Miguel Campaneria. San Juan, the Spanish for Saint John, is a common toponym in parts of the world where Spanish is or was spoken: Argentina San Juan Province San Juan, Argentina, the capital of that province Cuba San Juan Hill Mexico San Juan, Campeche San Juan, Chihuahua San Juan, Coahuila San Juan... Miguel Campaneria is Cuban ballet dancer and choreographer. ...
