The National Centre for Popular Music was a museum in Sheffield, England for contemporary music and culture that was built largely with contributions from the National Lottery.

The building consists of four giant stainless steel drums whose tops rotate in the wind. Its unique construction led Sheffield residents to appropriately nickname it The Four Tops (after the Motown band of the same name).

The NCPM was not as successful as was hoped, and the building stopped being used as a museum, instead evolving to become a live music venue. Sheffield Hallam University recently (2003) agreed to a deal to use the building as their students' union.
