Negative Creep was originally on Nirvana's 1989 debut album, Bleach. The song deals with self-hatred and drug use ("I'm a negative creep and I'm stoned"), and became a staple of Nirvana's live shows where fans of the album "Bleach" would often call for Negative Creep to be played throughout the show. "Negative Creep" was also included on the film documentary Hype! in 1996. Kurt Cobain often jokingly referred to the song as "Neg Crepe" on setlists. It is also possible that the song deals with criticism, probably by a poor review from a music critic early in Cobain's career. Cover of the Nirvana album Bleach. ... Creep Compensation: Transducer-Class Strain Gages (270 words)
Since transducer creep depends on several variables such as spring element material, heat treatment, strain field, adhesive type and test temperature, it is not possible to predict the proper gage compensation necessary to achieve the best creep result.
Since it is not possible to predetermine the creep characteristics of a particular transducer, it is suggested that the standard creep code be ordered in quantities sufficient to evaluate three or four transducers.
Negative creep values in excess of 0.1% FS generally are the result of a faulty gage installation.
