Neidermeyer's Mind is a 1993 demo tape recording by Bakersfield, California-based band Korn, leading up to the band's self-titled debut in 1994. It was produced by Ross Robinson who also went on to produce their debut album as well as their follow-up album Life Is Peachy. All of the songs on this demo appeared on Korn's debut album with the exception of "Alive" which was re-recorded 10 years later for their sixth studio album Take a Look in the Mirror. Although the demo version of "Blind" sounds vastly different, the remainder of the tracks are closely similar to their final album counterparts despite having been re-worked and re-recorded. While the first three tracks of Neidermeyer's Mind were redone for Korn's self-titled debut album, the last track, "Alive", was re-worked and re-recorded by the band 10 years later on their album Take a Look in the Mirror. Parts of the demo version, such as the chorus, was used in another track, "Need To". The latter was included on their first studio album.

Similarly, another Korn demo (that wasn't included on Neidermeyer's Mind) called "Layla" is similar to "Clown" on the self-titled debut album. Most noticeably it's the opening of the song (not the skit at the beginning). The ending for "Layla" also bears similarities to the ending of the song entitled "Ass Itch" from the 1996 album "Life Is Peachy".

It is also noteworthy that the first track, "Pradictable", is spelt with an 'a' in place of the first 'e'. It is unknown if this was intentional or an error. However, the song was eventually retitled to its proper spelling on their debut album. YES!
