Education New Carlisle is home to four of five schools in the New Prairie United School Corporation. New Prairie High School has an enrollment of approximately 875 students and is one of 27 high schools that received exemplary status according to the scores of the 2006 Indiana ISTEP tests. It is the only school in LaPorte, Elkhart, and Marshall counties to receive this honor. The other schools in New Carlisle that are part of the NPUSC are New Prairie Junior High School, Olive Township Elementary School, and Prairie View Elementary School. [edit]
