Route 27 is a state highway in New Jersey, United States, running along the original alignment for U.S. Route 1. Its southern terminus is at U.S. Route 206 in Princeton (where it is called Nassau Street) at Bayard Lane; its northern terminus is at Broad Street/McCarter Highway or Route 21 in Newark. Besides Princeton, NJ 27 has local names in other municipalities as well. In New Brunswick, its is known as (north-south) Albany Street, French Street, and Somerset Street. In Highland Park, NJ 27 is known as Raritan Avenue. In Metuchen, it is known as (north-south) Middlesex Avenue, Lake Avenue, and Essex Avenue. In Edison, it is known as Lincoln Highway. In Rahway, Linden and Roselle, it is known as St. Georges Avenue.
