New Jersey State Highway 5 is a state highway in New Jersey, United States. It runs from Ridgefield, New Jersey at an intersection with United States Highway 1 and United States Highway 9 to River Road in Edgewater, New Jersey. It previously used to run down what is now New Jersey Secondary Highway 505 to the docks at Edgewater just south of Dempsey Avenue.

This road is part of the current system, begun in the 1927 renumbering and heavily modified by the 1953 renumbering.
The original system existed from 1922 to 1927.
