Newsquest is the second largest publisher of regional or local newspapers in the United Kingdom.


It publishes over 300 newspapers, including the Glasgow titles The Herald, The Sunday Herald and the Evening Times.


Formed in 1995, it was acquired by the Gannett corporation in 1997.
