Biography
During the Fall of Saigon, his father, a devout anti-communist, was a Lieutenant in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN). He chose to remain and protect his family and defend South Vietnam from the invading North Vietnamese Army and their Viet Cong agents. The Communist forces during a fierce battle overcame his battalion, due to their low ammunition and air support and his father was killed. The Fall of Saigon, (known also as the Liberation of Saigon) on April 30, 1975, saw the capture of the South Vietnamese capital of Saigon, by the North Vietnamese Army. ...
