Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College is a large school/college in the English town of Bedworth. It caters to boys and girls between the ages of 11-18, and at the end of a recent Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) inspection, a total of 1585 pupils were found to attend.

The Head of 'Nico' - as it is affectionately known by townfolk, students and staff - is Lesley King, who turned the school around from Special Measures to one of the finest in the country. 194 teachers work at the school, with some from the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
NicholasChamberlaine who's name is celebrated in the almshouses - was a 17th century rector of Bedworth and is still remembered as a generous benefactor.
To celebrate its benefactor, a NicholasChamberlaine memorial service is held every year in the nearby All Saints Church.
In further links with the areas history, George Eliots father and brother (Robert and Isaac) were involved in advising the Chamberlaine charity in Bedworth and assisted with collecting rents and inspecting property.
