The case of Nicolae Andrei Nicolae Andrei, a journalist from Craiova, was arrested on 14 February 1994 and charged with "casting slurs upon the honour"*20 of President Ion Iliescu.
Nicolae Andrei was detained for four days and then released on bail pending trial.
