Lappin, who is in doubt with a rib injury, seemed to do all that was asked of him at yesterday's final training run at the Albert Ground, increasing Brisbane's dilemma over how many injured players it can take into today's match.
Lappin had an injection before training, and after going through drills with the main squad, he paired off with teammate Aaron Shattock for some one-on-one exercises, which included tackling.
Lappin appeared to have trouble bending down, and will almost certainly be restricted in his movement if he plays today.

Nigel Lappin is today stranded in Melbourne with a leaking lung as his teammates move from "homecoming Sunday" into Mad Monday in Brisbane, scarcely without pausing for breath.
Lappin's lung was punctured after he received a knock in Saturday's grand final massacre of Collingwood.
