Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development (or EAD; formerly Research & Development Team 4) is the largest division inside Nintendo of Japan, under the management of Shigeru Miyamoto. This team mostly focuses on the development of games. EAD Tokyo is the first in-house Nintendo development studio to be located outside of the Nintendo headquarters in Kyoto.
