The Niohuru were a powerful Manchu clan during the Qing dynasty in China.


Empress Dowager Ci'an, the widow of Emperor Xianfeng and co-regent of China during Emperor Tongzhi and Emperor Guangxu, came from this clan.


One of the powerful members was Eidu, one of Nurhaci's nobles.(MP)

Empress Xiaoquan Cheng, (zh: 孝全成皇后)(1808 – 1840), born Lady Niuhuru, was the third empress consort of the Daoguang emperor (1782 - 1850).
Her father was Baron Liyang of the Niuhuru clan.
During the first reign year of the Daoguang Emperor in 1821 she was granted the title of Quan pin (全嫔).

Yizhu was born in 1831 at the Old Summer Palace, eight kilometers northwest of the walls of Beijing, and was the fourth son of the Daoguang Emperor.
His mother was the concubine of the 2nd rank Quan (全貴妃), of the (Manchu) Niuhuru clan, who was made Empress in 1834, and is known posthumously as Empress Xiaoquan Cheng (孝全成皇后).
