The Temples, called Nizhal Tangals are simple buildings built by the people to worship God without distinction of colour,race or caste.Equality among the people is strictly maintained and everybody is expected to be cleen.In temples, there is no sacrifices, no incences, no arathi, no poojari and not even any hundies.As per the year of 1998 more or less 7000 Nizhal Thangals had been reported mostly in the districts of Kanyakumari,Thoothukkudi,Thirunelveli,Virudunagar,Chennai, and in southern districts of Kerala.There is also a good number of Nizhal Thangals in Mumbai.
