The North Bronx is a largely meaningless geographic designation, denoting parts of the Bronx borough of New York City not contained in the South Bronx. However, since the South Bronx traditionally refers only to the southwestern Bronx, areas in the southeastern Bronx are often erroneously labeled as the "North Bronx."
