Northcote is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The state seat of Northcote is held by Mary Delahunty, member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and the federal seat of Batman, which covers Northcote, is held by Martin Ferguson, also from the ALP.
Northcote was at one point the home of Australian death metal band Blood Duster, who (probably uniquely) named a song after the suburb, as well as including it in the title of their second album, Str8 Outta Northcote.
