Frankie Raye was born in New York City. She worked for the United Nations as an interpreter. She became Johnny Storm's girlfriend, and was known for being afraid of fire. Later, her fear was explained to be the result of a mental block induced by her stepfather, Phineas Horton, after she was accidentally doused with the chemicals which caused the android original Human Torch (his creation) to burst into flame, in an attempt to prevent her using the Torch-like powers granted her by the accident. Frankie Raye appeared in the movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, portrayed by Beau Garrett. She worked for the government with General Hager while Frankie was captain. Raye and Hager inform the Fantastic Four about the strange occurrences happening worldwide, due to the arrival of a distinct Cosmic-entity, Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer on earth. Though Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, who is a member of the Fantastic Four, likes Frankie, the feelings aren't the same on her side due to the fact she sees him as an irresponsible man who almost got his team killed. Frankie also has some vast knowledge about Johnny in his files about his immaturity and irresponsibility. After the Silver Surfer has been captured and put in the government facility, the Fantastic Four free him so they can stop Victor von Doom, who has stolen the Surfer's powers with his cosmic surfboard, and Galactus, Frankie tries to stop the Four by pointing a gun at them. But after she learns that General Hager was killed by Doom when he absorbed the Surfer's powers and that the world was going to be destroyed by Galactus, she lets the five go. Frankie last appears at the end of the movie attending the wedding ceremony of Reed Richards and Susan Storm. When Susan throws the bouquet Johnny flames it to prevent her, the tallest woman present amidst the Japanese crowd, from catching it. Beau Garrett is an American actress and model. ...
