ObjectWeb is a not-for-profit, international consortium dedicated to the development of high-quality open-source components for distributed applications (Web applications, grid computing, clusters, business integration, nomadic systems, etc).
ObjectWeb also includes the Eclipse GUI extension to develop the J2EE applications (Lomboz).
As a consortium, ObjectWeb will coordinate the resources and actions needed for further development and extension of these components, which will continue to be developed under the collaborative model.
ObjectWeb intends to capitalize on an already very active developer community around the first modules developed by the founding companies.
