Oestroidea er en gruppe (overfamilie) av fluer som inneholder flere artsrike familier.
En del av Oestroidea er alvorlige skadedyr, det gjelder særlig de tre familiene av bremser og gullfluene (Lucilia spp.) i familien spyfluer, som alle angriper husdyr.
På den andre side spiller spyfluene en viktig rolle som nedbrytere av åtsler og noen larver av denne familien kan brukes til å rense infiserte sår (bioterapi).
