Ogulin is a town in north-western Croatia, Karlovac county, population 8,712 (2001), total municipality population 15,054 (2001). Ogulin has many historical spots such as Kula, the stone castle, and the tall mountain nearby called Klek. History

Ogulin's history dates back to the 15th century, where it struggled against the Ottoman Turks. In 1493, Bernardin Frankopan built the famous stone castle on Klek mountain. In the 16th century, it became a military stronghold against the Ottomans.
