Oh Se-hoon (hangul: 오세훈, hanja: 吳世勳, born January 4, 1961, Seoul, South Korea) is the current mayor of South Korean capital, Seoul. He is a member of the conservative Grand National Party. He is also a lawyer. He graduated from Daeil High School and majored in law at Korea University. He became a congressman in 2000 and is a representative at the National Assembly. Political career
Recent debates in relation to the quality of Seoul city water, have stemmed out of - what can only be described as; {the rapid development of a post-war East Asian economy}. Most Seoul residents choose to drink bottled mineral water, however, it has been reported that Oh Se-hoon, not only vouches for but drinks the city tap water [1] English teachers from the likes of his hometown Mokdong, have quickly taken to his good example and now use tap water for cooking, drinking and mixing alcoholic beverages. This is the first step towards reducing the Seoul cities dependancy on bottled mineral water.
